About Hayat Mahal

Our Aim

Hayat Mahal®came into being with the purpose of pushing the local engraving industry from the old practices of slow, inaccurate and costly methods to the latest norms of the modern world which provide for quick, machine accurate and affordable engraving and cutting. Our goal was always to provide the maximum value in a completely hassle-free manner. Our current expansion to the online space is just another step into that direction. Through our online presence we aim to provide industry defining quality and customer care which sets us apart from our competitors in our offline work as well.

Our brief history:

The idea of Hayat Mahal has conceived 13 years ago in 2009. The very first CNC wood engraving and low power CNC CO2 Laser machines were up and running in 2012. Since then, we gradually learned from our customers, improved our business model and kept expanding our production capacity well into 2016. 2017 marked the year of our venture into the Plasma cutting space. We added two CNC Plasma machines into our arsenal and began perfecting the art of metal cutting and designing. As the industry evolved, we kept on top of the trends and began our move to the latest and greatest high power O2 Metal Cutting Lasers in 2020. After 12 years of industry experience. We have now ventured into the online space with 15 machines in service as we continue expanding our capacity to fulfil our customers’ needs.

Origins of the name:

The idea of “Hayat Mahal Engravers” is inspired by the 20th-century wooden haveli mansion called Umar Hayat Mahal in Chiniot, Pakistan. The wooden structure with its state-of-the-art handcrafted designs on the façade, doors, windows, cornices, pillars, walls, and ceilings, and unique architectural style makes it a popular tourist attraction. Sheikh Omar Hayat had employed the best craftsmen and artisans of Chiniot to build a magnificent dream house for his family.

Hayat Mahal Engravers not only honors the cultural significance of wooden engraving but also puts out efficient & less time-consuming ways to achieve delicate designs with the use of state-of-the-art machinery.
